DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and ensure reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of software systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Optimize cloud resources to balance performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure security best practices are applied to all infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Expertise with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) for effective communication.
