Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to solve complex problems such as prediction, classification, and optimization.
  • Design and execute data experiments to validate hypotheses and test new ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and performance metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis and modeling process.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to incorporate best practices and innovative techniques into projects.
  • Work with cloud platforms and big data tools to manage large-scale data systems effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, with experience in data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Experience working with big data tools and platforms like Spark, Hadoop, or AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative tools like Jupyter notebooks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) for effective collaboration and communication.
  • Advanced degrees in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field are a plus.
